Campaigns and county parties across Texas continue to wait for court decisions on Texas’ redistricting maps. For the present time, we continue to plan for an April 3rd primary date.  Democrats who can work the polls during Early Voting between March 19 – 30 are still needed.  Please contact Ruth Martinez at the Lubbock County Office of Elections, 775-1963, for more information.

There are many roads to becoming involved in the Democratic Party. Some, like holding office or managing a campaign, require long-term dedication and perseverance. And some, like getting out the vote or acting as an election judge are intermittent and short-term. Some, like seeking a place on the ballot or becoming an election judge have legal and procedural requirements. And some, like the Democratic Lunch Bunch, just require that you show up. Whatever the amount of time and energy you can devote, we welcome your participation.
