After an awesome 100+ turnout for Battleground Texas in Lubbock, the energy continues with these exciting events:
What: Lubbock Tejano Democrats meeting
When: Saturday, April 13 10am
Where: LCDP Headquarters, 2809A 74th St
Details: This is the regular second Saturday meeting of Tejano Democrats.
What: LCDP Executive Committee meeting featuring Mayor Glen Robertson
When: Tuesday, April 16; Mayor 6-7pm, business meeting 7-8pm
Where: LCDP Headquarters, 2809A 74th St
Details: Mayor Robertson will discuss City of Lubbock issues with the CEC and guests in our new tradition of informative, relaxed dialogue from 6-7pm. Our business meeting will be from 7-8pm.
What: La Fuerza meeting and voter registrar deputization
When: Tuesday, April 30 7pm
Where: LCDP Headquarters, 2809A 74th St
Details: La Fuerza, an independent political group, is inviting Lubbock Democrats to become deputy voting registrars at their meeting on Tusday, April 30. Lubbock County Elections Office staff will be on hand with materials to deputize anyone who wants to register others to vote. This is a great opportunity to become deputized if you missed it at the March CEC meeting.
